HPM's President Elected VP of Safeco's Advisory Council

HPM's president and CEO, Lyle Fulkerson, has been elected vice president of the Safeco Insurance Advisory Council for the Northeast region.  According to Safeco, their agency advisory councils are an important part of aiding the company improve the relationship for both customers and independent agency partners.

Fulkerson has also been chosen to serve of Safeco's national council which is a collaborative, agent-driven forum that has helped Safeco partner with independent agents for more than ten years.  There are some 140 agents that participate on eight regional councils.  Elected officers of each regional council, such as Fulkerson, make up Safeco's National Advisory Council. Safeco’s collaboration with agents through advisory councils is a testament to Safeco’s commitment to independent agents.

As a national spokes person for Safeco agents and customers, Fulkerson looks forward to what his fellow agents and Safeco can accomplish in 2015.

“After participating on the regional council, I’ve seen the good that it can do for customers, independent agents and Safeco,” said Fulkerson.  “Serving as vice president is a true honor, and I’m look forward to playing a part in strengthening relationships and improving how we bring value to our customers.”

Regional Advisory Council participants serve three-year terms, with about one-third of the membership rotating annually. Officers hold their positions for one year.
