As CEO/President of HPM Insurance, Lyle is responsible for setting the tone and vision of the agency. Lyle works with all the agency personnel to identify risks and exposures for both new and existing clients. CIC: Executive Vice President
Lisa began her journey in the insurance industry at The Holt Agency, while still in high school. With more than 25 years of experience in the business, she has worked her way through each aspect of the agency and now heads the commercial lines department and is part of the senior leadership team. As Lisa enjoys working with systems, she sits on the New England User Group for Vertafore on the Education committee.
Lisa resides in Wilton with her husband Greg and Addie, her spunky and fun-loving pup. She enjoys spending time in her yard gardening, cycling, swimming and pretty much anything outside when it’s warm. She also enjoys the tranquility of her farmer's porch and her travel trailer where she ventures along the East Coast with family and friends. She is also very active in her local church music ministries.
CPCU: Executive Vice President
April handles the marketing and communications for HPM Insurance and is part of the senior leadership team. Though she holds a journalism degree she realized insurance was her calling given her late-father, Jack McBriarty, owned an agency throughout her childhood. April tested the waters of insurance by first working on the company side, followed by running an office for a large agency in Massachusetts. She joined the family business, McBriarty Insurance of Milford, in 2000 where she ran it with Jack for 10 years before selling to HPM Insurance. April earned her CPCU designation in 2012, has been a board member of the NH Association of Insurance Agents since 2014 and is the chairperson for the 2018-19 term. April lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, Ted, two boys and dog, Hilton. She enjoys traveling, music, running and cooking.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Monica is a Personal Risk Control Specialist with more than 21 years of insurance experience. Monica began her insurance career at Travelers back in 1990 after moving from Southern California. She soon realized she wanted more interaction directly with the customer, which
Barbara has been in the insurance industry since 2000. She managed the personal lines department for many years before fulfilling her dream of living down South on the coast where she now resides with her husband and two dogs. Barbara has always had a passion for numbers which makes her a great asset to the agency as a financial analyst. ACSR: Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Kim joined HPM Insurance Bedford in the summer of 2015 with nearly 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. In addition to a property and casualty license, Kim has also earned her ASCR designation for both personal and commercial lines. When Kim is not in the office, you can find her curled up under a blanket with a good book or out and about with her daughter,
CIC, AAI: General Manager
Jeffrey helped run the Byse agencies, along with his late-father Donald Flanders, since 1986. Upon the sale of Byse Insurance to HPM, Jeffrey took on the role of general manager for the Laconia and Bristol offices. He has a well-developed resume as he holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. He also served on the board of directors for the NH Association of Insurance Agents and was also chairman of the board for the 2002-2003 term. When not in the office, you may find him donating his time helping with the dogs at the Pope Memorial SPCA and spending time with family and friends.
Risk Control Specialist
Christine joined the HPM team in April of 2019. She began her insurance career in 2010 on the company side after being a teacher to adults and those with special needs as well as a real estate agent. She later moved to the agency side of insurance and worked in personal lines. Always hungry for knowledge, Christine decided to make the move to commercial insurance where she continues to learn and grow.
When not in the office, you may find Christine with her husband and three children, along with her pets including two dogs, a turtle, a snake and chickens. She is also an avid hiker and mushroom forager.
Eric started his career with HPM Insurance in the fall of 2019 as an account executive. While new to insurance, Eric has many years of business to business sales experience, including seven years in telecommunications, and six years in wireless communications. Eric truly enjoys putting together the perfect solution for his clients, which sets him up for success in this industry.
When Eric isn't working, you will find him and his wife preparing their home for their first child due to arrive in early 2020. He is also an animal lover, having rescued two beautiful dogs named Delphia and Tiger Lily.
Eric also enjoys golf, rare cars, and traveling with his wife all around New England.
Vice President of Personal Lines
Karen joins the HPM team with more than 20 years of insurance experience and 8 years of supervisory experience from the largest independent agency in the state. She has an in-depth understanding of the personal insurance market place match an individual or family with the best program to fit their needs and budget. Karen also has years of managing high net-worth clients and understands the complexities and demands of such accounts. When Karen is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Health Benefits Consultant
Tom has been in health insurance and benefits industry for more than a decade. He specializes in the health insurance needs of businesses by providing group benefits as well as coverage for individuals. He can help answer the complex issues involving the AFA and Medicare. Tom and his family moved to New Hampshire from New York in mid-2015 and took roots in the seacoast where they enjoy the outdoors with activities such as hiking and camping. When not at work or with his family, you may catch Tom court-side as he loves to play tennis as much as possible. You may also catch him watching a baseball game, but don't hold it against him - he is an avid Yankees fan.
Audra is part of the agency support team and organizer extraordinaire. She ensures that the "behind the scenes" operation continues to flow smoothly whether it is greeting clients or organizing a charity event so that everyone can participate. While not in the office Audra can be found curled up with a Jane Austen novel and anything pumpkin spice. She can also be found hiking with friends or family or hanging out at the waterfront. Audra also has a passion for make-up and fashion.

Personal Risk Control Specialist
Samantha, aka Sam, works out of the Laconia office helping clients with their personal insurance needs. She has held an insurance license since 2015 and has a passion for problem-solving. Her passion for helping and problem-solving runs deep because when not in the office, she may be found battling a blaze given she is a volunteer firefighter for the town of Ashland. She is also the proud mother to her son, Jeremiah, and enjoys spending time with him on the sidelines of a hockey game. Though she has little time to spare, a perfect day for Sam would be spent at the lake.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Cathy is a Personal Lines Risk Specialist with more than 33 years of experience in the insurance industry. Cathy is a life-long resident of Wilton which has allowed her to establish long and trusted relationships with area clients. Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband as well as traveling to new places, sharing with friends and enjoying the great outdoors.
Elizabeth has been working in the accounting field for more than 20 years. Originally from Los Angeles, she has worked in a CPA office, dentist office and escrow department at a mortgage company. With her move to HPM Insurance in early 2018, she now helps with the daily financial transactions at the agency.
When not calculating numbers, she enjoys the peacefulness of snowshoeing in New Hampshire or a competitive game of tennis with her friends. To relax, Elizabeth enjoys quilting or curling up with a good book or cross-word puzzle.
Sharon came to HPM Insurance in the spring of 2017 to head up the accounting department. Though new to insurance, she comes with many years of accounting experience as she worked for more than a decade in accounting at Stonyfield Farm and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and computer programming from Rivier University.
Sharon is energetic and enjoys hiking, biking, camping and motorcycle rides through the mountains. She is also particularly fond of running as she runs regularly and has successfully completed the Boston Marathon seven times in addition to several other local marathons.
Brandon joins HPM Insurance Bedford as an account executive with nearly six years of insurance industry experience. Prior to his insurance career, Brandon spent more than a decade serving the citizens of New Hampshire as a police officer. His background includes expertise in risk management and identifying concerns that matter to each client. He listens to his clients concerns and develops a plan to mitigate risks through a well-designed insurance plan. When not working, Brandon is an active baseball coach and enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, Jack. He also spends his free time writing and developing books for children.
AAI: Risk Control Specialist
Lorraine began her insurance career more than 30 years ago, at the NH Insurance Company, now a part of AIG. Two years later she moved to Massachusetts and began working on the agency side but after getting married, she headed back to the lakes region and worked for Noyes Insurance for more than two decades and then Melcher & Prescott for several years. Lorraine now works for HPM Insurance in the Bristol office. Lorraine loves her job because she loves customer service. She is a people-person and likes the challenge of finding her clients the best coverage at a fair price.
Brenna joined HPM Insurance after working several years in retail. She decided to follow in her mother's footsteps, Lorraine Plankey who is also an employee of HPM, and pursue a career in insurance. When Brenna is not busy learning more about insurance or greeting clients, you can find her by the water on Newfound Lake or snuggled up watching movies with her pet bunny rabbit.
Rosemary, aka Rose, has been with Byse Insurance in Laconia since 2001 where she is part of the support team. She has an eagle-eye for detail and is a great asset for the many aspects of insurance that require close attention. She also has a sweet spot for Jelly Belly jelly beans, which lures many to her desk regularly. While not helping the office run smoothly, you may find her in her kitchen whipping up a delicious cake, pie or batch of cookies or muffins. She is also the proud mother of two children, Sabrina and Jesse, and granddaughter, Lily Rose.
CIC, Marketing Coordinator
Claudia joined the HPM team in the summer of 2017 as the agency’s Marketing Coordinator. With more than thirty years’ experience, she can navigate the ever-changing insurance market place to find the right coverage options for our clients. She has the ability to write accounts of all sizes, but prefers the challenge and excitement that goes along with writing larger risks. Claudia began her career on the insurance company side with Andover Companies, but soon moved over to the agency side and worked for several large agencies in Massachusetts including Appleby & Wyman and Fred C. Church. Family brought her over the border into New Hampshire where she has worked ever since at both Brown & Brown of NH and Eaton & Berube before coming to HPM Insurance.
While not at work, Claudia enjoys spending time with her teenaged daughter, friends and family. Claudia also loves to golf, bike, cook and travel, with her favorite place being Italy.
Assistant Risk Control Specialist
Jen has worked in the insurance industry for roughly eight years, three of which as a licensed claims adjuster at two major insurance companies. Jen sought out a change-of-pace and decided to work at an agency after moving to Milford in 2019. She enjoys insurance, so wants to expand on this knowledge and work directly with clients to help protect their property before a claim occurs. In her spare time, Jen loves exploring the Milford area with her daughter, as well cuddling on the couch with her dog, Peanut, while watching Netflix.
